A Rally of Writers set for Lansing Michigan in April
The annual “A Rally of Writers” is set for April 10 in Lansing Michigan and is showcasing National Book Award Finalist Thomas Lynch as the morning keynote speaker. In addition, more than a dozen authors will participate in 16 panel discussions on various aspects of writing covering everything from writing mysteries to historical fiction. Several first-time authors including Kelly O’Connor McNees of Chicago (Lost Summer of Louisa May Alcott) and Judge William Whitbeck of Lansing (To Account for Murder) will participate. Cost of the day-long session is $70 plus $14 for lunch.
In addition, Mittenlit.com will be making two presentations including speaking at lunch about Michigan’s top literary sites. Also, Mittenlit.com will join thriller writer and founder of an online author forum, Karen Dionne, and Bonnie Bucqueroux, MSU professor and new media expert for a 7:30 p.m., Friday evening session “The Effect of the Internet on Publishing” at Schuler Books in the Eastwood Towne Center.
